Though Election Day is in full swing, New York City is still recovering from Hurricane Sandy—and this evening, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that the Holland Tunnel will now be open by rush hour tomorrow morning.
Cuomo announced that the Holland Tunnel will open to all traffic at 5 a.m. Wednesday, bringing back yet another vital connector between Manhattan and its surrounding areas. The Holland Tunnel connects Jersey City, N.J., with Canal Street in Manhattan.
About 91,000 vehicles on an average weekday commute via the tunnel, According to the AP.
