In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the New York City Transit authority has been working around the clock to get the city's subway system up and running. As of 10 a.m. this morning, here are the updates for each line, via the MTA.
1, 2, 3 - Expect delays on the 2 & 3 lines.
Due to congestion in southbound 3 train service, some 3 trains will be running local from the 96 Street Station to the Chambers Street Station.
1 train service will operate between the Van Cortlandt Park-242 Street Station and the Chambers Street Station in both directions.
2 train service will operate between the Wakefield-241 Street Station and the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College Station in both directions.
3 train service will operate between the Harlem-148 Street Station and the New Lots Avenue Station in both directions.
4, 5, 6 - Expect delays on thr 4 & 5 lines.
4 train service has resumed in both directions from the Woodlawn Station to the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue Station
5 train service has resumed between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue Station and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College Station in both directions.
6 train service has resumed in both directions from the Pelham Bay Park Station to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station.
7 - 7 train service has resumed in both directions from the Times Square-42 Street Station to the Flushing-Main Street Station.
A, C, E - Expect delays on the C line.
Due to a switch problem at the Canal Street Station, uptown C trains are running express from the Canal Street Station to the 59 Street-Columbus Circle Station.
A train service has resumed between 168 Street Station and Lefferts Boulevard Station.
No A service to and from Aqueduct and the Rockaways.
C train service has resumed between 145 Street Station and Euclid Avenue Station.
E train service has resumed between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer Station and World Trade Center Station.
B, D, F, M - B train service is suspended.
D trains operate between 205 Street Station (Bronx) and Bay Parkway Station. Making local stops between 125 Street Stationand 59 Street Station.
F train service has resumed service between 179 Street Station and Avenue X Station.
M trains will operate between 71 Avenue Station and Metropolitan Avenue Station.
G - G train service is suspended.
J, Z - J trains operate between Jamaica Center Station and Essex Street Station, making all local stops.
Z train service is suspended.
L - Expect delays on the L line.
Due to a police investigation at the New Lots Avenue Station, there is no 8th Avenue-bound L train service between Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway Station and Broadway Junction Station.
N, Q, R - N train service has resumed between Ditmars Boulevard Station and 59 Street Station (Brooklyn) in both directions.
R trains run in two sections between Forest Hills-71 Avenue Station and 34 Street-Herald Square Station also between Jay Street-MetroTech Station and Bay Ridge-95 Street Station, making all local stops.
Q trains operate between Kings Highway and Ditmars Boulevard in both directions.
S - The 42 Street S shuttle trains will operate between the Times Square-42 Street Station and the Grand Central-42 Street Station.
The Franklin Avenue S shuttle train service has resumed operating between the Franklin Avenue Station and the Prospect Park Station.
Rockaway Park S Shuttle train suspended.
