MLB: New York Yankees 2021 Regular Season Schedule

Earlier today, Major League Baseball released the 2021 regular season schedule. Please find some Yankees schedule notes and highlights below.

YANKEES 2021 SCHEDULE NOTES:

  • Will open the season at home on 4/1 vs. Toronto.
  • Will play their longest homestand of the season with nine games from 4/30-5/9 (three games each vs. Detroit, Houston and Washington).
  • Will have their first meetings against Boston with a three-game series from 6/4-6 at Yankee Stadium…other home matchups vs. Boston will take place from 7/15-18 and 8/17-18.
  • Will play six Subway Series games against the Mets (7/2-4 at Yankee Stadium and 9/10-12 at Citi Field)…will be in Queens for the 20th Anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
  • In addition to their above series vs. the Mets, will face the NL East in Interleague Play for the second straight season…includes home matchups from 4/20-21 with Atlanta, 5/7-9 with Washington and 7/20-21 with Philadelphia…will travel to Philadelphia (6/12-13), Miami (7/30-8/1), Atlanta (8/23-24).
  • Will play at home on Easter Sunday (4/4 vs. Toronto), Mother’s Day (5/9 vs. Washington), Memorial Day (5/31 vs. Tampa Bay), Father’s Day (6/20 vs. Oakland), Independence Day (7/4 vs. the Mets) and Labor Day (9/6 vs. Toronto).
  • Will close out the regular season at home with a three-game series vs. Tampa Bay from 10/1-3.
