BetoMania Is Over

2019-12-06 11:22:121 Oct 2018 01:53 AM EST

Beto O'Rourke's campaign for President crashed and burned. Democrats had tried to woo him to run for Senate. However, according to the Texas Tribune, Beto does not want to run for Senate. The Democrats are now wooing Steve Bullock to run for Senate. Democrats feel Bullock would be a better candidate that O'Rourke. Politico reports that BetoMania is over. O'Rourke no longer has the loyal following he once did. His supporters have vanished. Even people who worked for his campaign no longer support Beto. “It’s not clear to me that Beto is the strongest candidate anymore,” said one Senate Democrat familiar with the Senate races.
