President Donald Trump’s spokesman said Trump wants an impeachment trial to go forward in the U.S. Senate. He wants to receive due process there and expects Joe Biden to be among the witnesses. According to Reuters, he wants it to be in the Senate because he “can expect fairness” there. Additionally, the spokesman said they expect to hear from other witnesses involved in alleged corruption. He named Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff and the whistleblower as some they expect to hear from.
