75% Of US Will Be Impacted Frigid Record-Breaking Temperatures

2019-11-13 00:01:32

Approximately 3/4 of the US will experience freezing temperatures this week. CNN reports that weather forecasters are predicting that an Arctic blast will impact two-thirds of the country. By Tuesday night, record-breaking low temperatures are expected across the country as the cold front moves off the east coast. According to the National Weather Service cities in Wisconsin have already reported record-breaking lows. Across the Northeast, more than 70 schools have canceled classes due to the snow. The deep south is under freeze watches, warnings, and advisories, including South Texas and the Florida Panhandle. Hundreds of records are expected to fall with temperatures plummeting 20 to 40 degrees below normal.
