Nikki Haley: Kelly, Tillerson Tried To Recruit Her To Undermine Trump

2019-11-11 04:43:031 Oct 2018 01:53 AM EST

Former US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has released an explosive new memoir. In it, she claims former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly tried to recruit her. Specifically, 'With All Due Respect' alleges they wanted her to undermine the administration from the inside. Kelly and Tillerson confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren't being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country. Nikki Haley 'With All Due Repsect' Business Insider reports the former South Carolina governor abruptly resigned from her role in October 2018. It was a month after her Washington Post op-ed, in which she said she didn't always agree with the president. And it was one day after an ethics watchdog group asked for an investigation of her acceptance of free flights on private jets.
