Artist and designer Kanye West is tossing around the idea of a new name and people aren't sure if he is serious or not. In a surprise appearance at the 2019 Fast Company Innovation Festival, West revealed that he may legally change his name. According to CNN, the rapper is considering the new moniker "Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West". West is known for his erratic interview style and unconventional business and marketing ideas. Last year, he stirred up controversy by suggesting slavery was a choice. In 2009, West said he'd change his name to Martin Louis the King Jr. And in 2006, he posed for Rolling Stone with a crown of thorns and compared himself to Jesus.
