Warren Says She Won't Take Tech Exec Donations

2019-10-16 11:01:141 Oct 2018 01:53 AM EST

Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign won't accept major donations from executives in tech and finance. The announcement came during the Democratic Presidential debate Tuesday. Warren says Facebook, Google, and Amazon are monopolies that should be more heavily regulated. She also urged other presidential candidates to disclose how much tech executives are donating to their campaigns. Business Insider reports that Warren's polls and donations are currently on the rise. She is now considered by many to be the frontrunner in the race.
