US Soccer Federation Claims Women's National Soccer Team Gets Paid More Than Men's

U.S. women’s national soccer team players are fighting to get equal pay through a lawsuit. All 28 members of the team sued the U.S. Soccer Federation for gender discrimination. According to Reuters, the U.S. Soccer Federation claims some members earn more than their male counterparts. Yet the team is pushing back against that claim, emphasizing wages and working conditions. A spokesman for the federation said the two teams have different pay structures because of negotiations not gender.
