Megan Rapinoe recently said the U.S. women’s national soccer team doesn’t plan to visit the White House. According to the Huffington Post, she doesn’t think the team will get an invitation if they win the World Cup. Rapinoe said President Donald Trump avoids inviting a team that might decline the invitation. She then referred to the Golden State Warriors turning down an invitation and him saying he didn’t invite them. In the past, Trump cancelled a visit by the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles after many said they would skip it.
