According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, France’s finance minister argued that victory for British anti-EU campaigner Nigel Farage in this week's European Parliament election will create a big headache for the European Union and the UK should exit the bloc as soon as possible. Bruno Le Maire reportedly said, “I consider that the British people decided to leave the European Union and the faster Britain leaves the better." Reuters reports that almost three years after Britain voted to leave the EU, the Brexit process remains so bogged down that its scheduled departure date has, once again, been pushed back, this time to Oct. 31, meaning the UK will take part in European Parliament elections to be held later this week.
