Pentagon Announces $646 Million Contract To Build Arizona Border Wall

According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, the United States Defense Department announced that it had awarded a 646 million dollar contract to a construction company to design and build a replacement for the border wall in Arizona. The department reportedly said in a statement that the work by Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Southwest Valley Constructors is expected to be completed by January 1st of 2020. Reuters reports that the department also announced the work would be performed in the Tucson sector.
