Russia Says Ready to Help Promote Dialogue In Venezuela

According to Reuters, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Tuesday said that Russia stands ready to facilitate the start of dialogue between Venezuela’s government and opposition. Russia has sided with President Nicolas Maduro in his stand-off with opposition leader Juan Guaido. On Tuesday, Ryabkov also said that Russia had made some proposals “to Venezuela” on settling the crisis in the country, and that Russia will stand ready to provide a kind service in order to assist Venezuela.
