Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar has plenty of healthy items on their menu--if you know what to order. Business Insider spoke to seven different dietitians on what they order there. The most popular dishes are Applebee's shrimp wonton stir fry and the cedar salmon, but they swap out fried side dishes with low-calorie, high-nutrient sides like steamed broccoli, green beans, or a house salad. As for Applebee's famous artichoke dip? Order it, but share it with the table. And instead of eating the chips that usually come with it, ask the server to replace them with lots of carrot and celery sticks. For the main meal, order the cedar-maple salmon or a 6-ounce steak. And for a side, substitute the starchy one for extra broccoli or tomato basil soup.
