SpaceX Broke Four Records During Falcon 9 Rocket Launch

According to Gizmodo, SpaceX's successful launch of a Falcon 9 rocket Monday broke four records. First, it was SpaceX’s 19th launch of the year, which tops its previous annual record of 18, set last year. Second, the Falcon 9 rocket delivered 64 satellites into orbit at once, which is a record for the United States. Third, the reusable booster used became the first Falcon 9 first-stage rocket to be used for three separate launches. Fourth and lastly, the booster has now launched from all three of SpaceX’s launch pads. SpaceX said in a statement that Spaceflight Industries handled much of the mission, including management planning and engineering.
