According to Reuters, several car companies reported a drop in sales during November. Sales for automakers in the US were impacted by rising prices for vehicles, and higher interest rates. But a slump in sedan sales also contributed to the lower sales figures for November. Ford, Honda, and Toyota were the companies that reported a decline in sales. But General Motors reported a 1-percent increase in sales during the same month. However, fleet vehicle sales offset the drop in consumer sales for GM. Ford's sales dropped almost 7-percent, selling less than 200,000 vehicles in November, with the Ford Focus and Mustang have the weakest sales.
