Schneiderman Will Not Faces Criminal Charges

On Thursday, prosecutors declined to file criminal charges against former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Schneiderman resigned in May after four women accused him of physical abuse. Reuters said the decision was announced by Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas. Singas was appointed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to investigate the allegations shortly after Schneiderman’s resignation. ---I believe the women who shared their experiences with our investigation team.--- ---However legal impediments, including statutes of limitations, preclude criminal prosecution.---
