Agreement Reached To Release American Pastor Jailed In Turkey

According to Business Insider, the US and Turkish governments reached a deal to release a detained American pastor. Andrew Brunson from North Carolina was detained over two years ago, after a failed coups in the Turkish capital. The American pastor has been accused of aiding the coups, and has been charged with terrorism. Brunson was jailed until earlier this year, when Turkish authorities granted to place him under house arrest back in July. In response to the development, the Turkish lira jumped almost 3-percent in value.
