According to Reuters, Boeing has gone over budget with their rocket for NASA. A watchdog agency for NASA said that the $9 billion budget for the rocket has doubled. NASA’s Inspector General said in an audit that Boeing is mostly to blame, due to poor performance. That poor performance has led to significant delays, due to management, technical and infrastructure issues. But Boeing spokeswoman Patricia Soloveichik said the audit did not represent the current state of the program. However, NASA spokeswoman Kathryn Hambleton said the agency was restructuring its contract with Boeing for the rocket.
