According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, the operator of a limousine company that owned the vehicle involved in a crash that killed 20 people in upstate New York was charged with criminally negligent homicide. 28 year-old Nauman Hussain was charged with one felony count related to the deadliest US transportation accident in nearly a decade. New York State Police Superintendent George Beach said that the state ordered the Ford Excursion limousine out of service in September and it should not have been on the road. Beach reportedly said, “The sole responsibility for the motor vehicle being on the road on Saturday rests with Nauman Hussain."
