Hurricane Michael Reaches Florida Coast

According to Reuters, Hurricane Michael reached the Florida coast by the afternoon on Oct. 10th.
The storm has grown to a category 4 hurricane over the last two days, with sustained winds of up to 150 miles-per-hour.
The US National Hurricane Center said the hurricane's eyewall came ashore between St. Vincent Island and Panama City in the Florida Panhandle.
The NHC expects the hurricane to have storm surges up to 14 feet high, driving sea water levels above normal in some areas.
