According to Business Insider, Tesla shares are trading up. But Tesla's stock price made up for losses a day before. After falling about 4-percent on Oct. 8th, Tesla shares are up about 5-percent, trading at $264. The upward trend began after an analyst projected Tesla won't need to raise more cash this year. But Tesla's stock is down about 35-percent since August 7th, when CEO Elon Musk tweeted he wanted to take the company private. After those plans fell through, Tesla and Musk were sued by the SEC, leading to a sharp decline in stock value.
