According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, Nikki Haley announced that she would be the latest senior official to exit the Trump administration, saying that she would resign at the end of the year as the United States ambassador to the United Nations. Other recent departures include Don McGahn, who stepped down as White House counsel in late August, and EPA chief Scott Pruitt, who resigned on July 5th under fire for a series of ethics controversies. Reuters reports that before Pruitt, White House physician Ronny Jackson withdrew his nomination to head the Veteran Affairs department on April 26th, after David Shulkin resigned as Veteran Affairs secretary at the end of March.
