Many companies make DNA tests that claim to tell you how well you'll respond to certain medicine. Many claim to predict which antidepressants will work for you based on your genetic profile. Two companies, Assurex and Genomind, offer some of the most popular tests. The two companies also work with physicians and pharmacists to provide them to patients. A chain of Albertsons pharmacies in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Boise is running a pilot program. The program allows pharmacists to offer the Genomind test to search your DNA.
