Senator: Russians Are Busy Hacking Florida Election Systems

2018-08-09 05:49:201 Oct 2018 01:53 AM EST

U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) made a shocking revelation to the Tampa Bay Times Wednesday. According to Reuters, Sen. Nelson said Russian operatives have penetrated some of Florida’s election systems. As such, they could delete registered voters ahead of the November elections. They have already penetrated certain counties in the state and they now have free rein to move about. U.S. intelligence officials say Russian election interference efforts are now targeting the Nov. 6 elections.
