Macy's Warns Customers Their Personal Information Could Be Compromised In Breach

Macy's is the latest retailer to have been hit by a data breach. The department-store chain, which also owns Bloomingdale's, warned customers of its 669 stores that their personal information including credit card information could have been leaked to a third party. In a letter sent to customers, the retail giant confirmed that the leaked information could include customers' first and last names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and birthdays. According to Business Insider, the breach took place between April 26 and June 12.
