NFL Players Union Says Anthem Policy Infringes On Rights

According to The Wrap, the NFL Players Association filed a grievance challenging the league's new policy on the National Anthem. The National Football League recently instituted a policy that prohibits players from kneeling on the field during the National Anthem, after two seasons of player protests. But players are now protesting that policy for being inconsistent with the NFL's collective bargaining agreement, as it infringes on the rights of players. The grievance also alleges that the NFL's governing body instituted the policy without consulting the Player's Association.
