Celebrity deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain is causing the media to focus on mental health.
Several of them are letting the public know about the suicide prevention hotline: 1-800-273-8255.
They are also providing guidelines on how social media should be reported.
These instructions have even gotten as specific as to how suicide notes should be reported.
The most important thing is to not report specific details of the person's methods.
