According to Reuters, republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives
failed to reach agreement on Tuesday on compromise legislation to protect young “Dreamer” immigrants.
It would have been from deportation and to also bolster border security.
Representative Mark Meadows said there is “no deal at this point."
Republicans are deeply split over immigration legislation and face a revolt by centrist in their party.
