President Donald Trump spent over an hour answering questions from reporters in Singapore after his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. But when it came to offering any sort of timeline for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula the president remained vague. Politico has reported that Trump said Kim will begin dismantling his nuclear arsenal “very quickly." Throughout the press conference Trump was asked to define what he meant by "quickly" but he evaded the question. Trump also said he wants to withdraw American troops stationed in South Korea, but gave no timeline for that either. He said, “At some point, I hope it will be, but not right now.”
