According to Reuters, Prime Minister Theresa May’s plans to end the UK's more than 40 years of membership in the EU moved one step closer.
In a contentious parliamentary vote, the British prime minister secured changes to another vote on a final agreement with Brussels over a bill to withdrawal from the European Union.
However, concessions made before the latest vote provided members of Parliament with more power if the prime minister fails to close a deal on Britain's divorce from the EU.
But after this vote on a future vote, MPs won't have another round of negotiations with Prime Minister May if they reject an agreement with the EU.
