Apple is currently looking for a location for a new campus that could host as many as 20,000 employees. North Carolina's Research Triangle region could be a candidate. Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly met with the governor of North Carolina last week. Northern Virginia may also be in the running, according to the Washington Post. Apple first announced its plans for a new campus earlier this year. At first, the new campus will only hold call center workers. On April 29, Cook said, "We're narrowing the site selection for a new U.S. campus, and we look forward to sharing more information on that later this year."
