Scientists have found bamboo coral 7,500 below the surface in the Gulf of Mexico.
Bamboo coral is extremely rare, and can only survive in certain conditions.
Bamboo Corals are collections of tiny organisms known as polyps.
They feed by filtering small organisms like plankton."
