New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has resigned. This is after a report on The New Yorker on allegations of assault from multiple women. Schneiderman said: "It's been my great honor and privilege to serve as Attorney General for the people of the State of New York.” In the past Schneiderman has been a vocal on the #MeToo movement. New York City Governor Andrew Cuomo said: "No one is above the law, including New York's top legal officer.”
