As public opinion of Donald Trump sinks lower and lower, he's beginning to lose the support of others as well that was seen previously as somewhat of a lock.

After the President fought publicly with Steve Bannon, now Tucker Carlson of Fox News has turned on him and his interests as POTUS.

Not that the newsman always questioned Trump. Previously, he defended him and was seen somewhat as an apologist. But all that changed when the President met with a bipartisan team, letting them know that in the interest of making a change to immigration laws that he'd sign just about anything they put in front of him.

"I'm not going to say, 'Oh, gee, I want this or I want that,'" said Trump. "I'll be signing it because I have a lot of confidence in the people in this room that you're going to come up with something really good."

After being criticized for wanting to end DACA, a measure that would see the Dreamers kicked out of the country, he's now contradicting that and indicating that he may be interested in protecting them.

This upset Carlson, as through this he's seeing a "completely different Donald Trump" than the one who made changes to immigration a backbone of his campaign.

"Congress is full of people from both parties who believe that the point of our immigration policy is to provide cheap labor to their donors and to atone for America's imaginary sins against the world," he said this week.

"They couldn't care less about immigration's effect on you or your family. Yet these are the same people the President now says he trusts to write the immigration bill, the one he will sign no matter what it says. So what was the point of running for president?" he questioned.

Additionally, one of the reasons Trump's supporters elected him was because he was seen as a shrewd businessman, but Carlson isn't seeing all those skills.

"He clearly has skills as a negotiator," Carlson pointed out. "Where were they today?"

Carlson's other big complaint was that the liberals are trying to "import more Democratic voters," and he's clearly very threatened by that thought. "Once they retake the Congress and the presidency — and if Trump betrays his base on immigration, that'll definitely happen — it is over," he reasoned. "Say goodbye to borders. They are done."
