Kodak Black Sentenced To Nearly 4 Years On Weapons Charges

Rapper Kodak Black has been sentenced to more than three years in prison on weapons charges. The 22-year-old, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri, pleaded guilty in August to the charges. The Florida rapper was arrested in May at the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Miami on state and federal weapons charges. US District Judge Federico A. Moreno in Miami on Wednesday sentenced Kapri to 46 months in prison. The rapper will also have to serve three years of supervised release at the end of his prison sentence. According to CNN, the maximum sentence for the charges could have been 10 years in prison.
