The list of nominees for the 2020 artists to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has been released. Late pop diva Whitney Houston, murdered rapper The Notorious B.I.G., and Dave Matthews Band are among the 16 nominees. Others nominated included singer Pat Benatar, rock group Thin Lizzy, and grunge band Soundgarden. Inductees will be selected based on ballots voted on by more than 1,000 artists, historians and members of the music industry. The general public also can weigh in online or at the Rock Hall. The top five vote-getters will be submitted as a single fan ballot.
