2019 Emmy Awards Show— Lowest Viewership Ever

2019-09-23 17:17:34

The 2019 Emmy Awards aired on Sunday on Fox. But according to Reuters, a lot less people were watching this year, based on Nielsen ratings data released on Monday. In fact, the U.S. television audience for Sunday's Emmy Awards show sunk to 6.9 million viewers—an all time low. In 2018, the awards show was also low, bringing in10.2 million U.S. viewers. The Emmy Awards recognize the best in television. Reuters doesn't cite reasons for the viewership slump.
