Organizers of Britain’s pop music honors are doing something they have never done before. They are giving the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award to an American singer-songwriter. According to Reuters, pop singer Pink will be the first international artist to receive the price. Pink is known for songs such as “Raise Your Glass,” “Just Like a Pill” and “What About Us.” Others to receive this award were David Bowie, Elton John, Queen and the Spice Girls.
