Reuters reports Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” has broken the record for the music video to most quickly reach 100 million views on Youtube. The single, released after the singer’s publicized breakup with ex-fiance Pete Davidson, has topped the Billboard charts for three weeks. Vevo said Tuesday that the “thank u, next” video reached 100 million views in fewer than four days following its release on Nov. 30. The previous record was held by British singer Adele’s music video for “Hello” in 2015, which reached 100 million views in five days. The video depicts Grande recreating scenes from popular female-led movies including “Legally Blonde” and “Mean Girls." It features cameos from “Legally Blonde” actress Jennifer Coolidge, singer Troye Sivan and Kris Jenner.
