Canadian author Margaret Atwood announced that she's writing a sequel to her best-selling dystopian novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.” She made the announcement on Twitter, writing: “Yes indeed to those who asked: I’m writing a sequel to The #HandmaidsTale.” The book, called "The Testaments" is set to be published in September 2019 by Penguin Random House, says Reuters. The novel will be set 15 years after the events depicted in “The Handmaid’s Tale” and will be narrated by three female characters. Atwood said her sequel won't be related to the Hulu television series of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which moved away from her book for the second season.
