Three years after an epic farewell tour, legendary rock band Mötley Crüe is reuniting in the studio for four new songs. Frontman Vince Neil announced the exciting news on Twitter Thursday. The band has yet to announce why they’re recording new songs, but according to Rolling Stone, there’s speculation it’s tied to the upcoming film adaptation of their memoir "The Dirt: Confessions Of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band." The movie, which does not yet have a release date, is slated to premiere on Netflix. Mötley Crüe last performed together at the last date of their final tour on New Year’s Eve 2015.
