'Wonder Woman 1984' Confirmed As Sequel Title

Warner Bros. and DC Films have officially confirmed that the title of the 'Wonder Woman' sequel is "Wonder Woman 1984." Comicbook.com reports that production is now underway on the follow-up to 2017's hit DC film. Gal Gadot and Chris Pine have returned to their roles as Diana and Steve Trevor. At Comic Con earlier this year, director Patty Jenkins said, "[Wonder Woman is an] optimistic and positive character. This film set in the '80s, she has to deal with the temptation of our world, and face extraordinary odds.""Wonder Woman 1984" is set to hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
