Amy Baer Elected Board President Of Women In Film

The non-profit organization Women in Film have elected Amy Baer as new board president. Baer will take over for outgoing president Cathy Schulman, who will remain on the board. Schulman will assume a new role as chair of an advisory council for the organization. Baer began her career as an assistant at CAA in 1988. She has nearly 25 years experience in Hollywood Her career includes stints working for talent agencies, major studios, and independent distributors. She was also president and CEP of CBS Films. The films she has supervised have grossed more than $1.8 billion in worldwide box office.
