Legendary adult film star Ron Jeremy has been banned from attending the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and Awards ceremony after he admitted he's a “groper.”

Adult Video News announced that Ron Jeremy has been banned from attending its porn expo and awards show at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Organizers for the expo and awards, which started Wednesday and will end Saturday, made the decision in November following a Rolling Stone report that detailed allegations of sexual assault against Jeremy. Then reports surfaced that the adult entertainment news site was banning Jeremy from the event was first reported on Wednesday, Jan. 31, according to The Blast.

Ron Jeremy claims he wasn't planning to attend Saturday's AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and Awards. His rep spoke to The Wrap about the matter. His spokesperson told the media site that he's busy planning two upcoming adult films and that the allegations against him are false.

“I was not planning on attending the AVN's this year anyway as I'm filming 2 movies and performing stand up comedy all week,” Jeremy said. “All serious allegations are false. The truth with [sic] come out soon.”

“I have never and would never rape anyone,” Jeremy continued. “All serious allegations have been investigated by police and dismissed by judges, as have most of the accusations of 'Groping.' I have never been charged nor spent one day in court for any of this. And these are old allegations. Check, Anything about me appearing in court or in jail, is public record. I was only arrested 20 years ago when I was fighting for Freedom Of Speech with Hal Freeman. The police who looked into the groping charges have always said that they watch the video from the event or whatever and that I did nothing wrong or illegal. They then ask if I want to press charges against The people making false accusations. I never have.”

However, Jeremy admitted that he is a “groper” at times despite never being charged with sexual assault. He went on to reveal that he's not like the other scorned men in Hollywood who have been accused of sexual assault and harassment.

“As for the charges of Groping, I say yes, I AM A GROPER. And by groper, I mean I get paid to show up to these shows, events, and photo shoots and touch the people and they touch me. I’m not the young stud I was, but I still draw a crowd. And we are talking about things that are within reason, in front of police officer’s and security that are always there as well as the tons of cameras And the general public. But seriously, if you were going to be around Ron Jeremy, wouldn’t you assume that I’d be a little bit touchy Feely? Yes. This is what I do for a living. I am not Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, Weinstein, or Cosby.”

Jeremy has been accused by multiple women over a 30-year span, reports Trill Magazine. Jennifer Steele alleges that Jeremy sexually assaulted her twice in 1997. Meanwhile, webcam model Ginger Banks accused him of inappropriately touching her and Julia Ann accused him of forcing a leg massage without her consent back in 2011. Other women have also accused the adult film star of inappropriate touching and groping, sexual assault, and rape.

Jeremy's admission of sexual assault violated the event's “zero tolerance harassment policy,” which has been in effect since January 1, 2017, said Brian Gross, the event's publicist, told Huffington Post.
