You can say a lot of things about Miley Cyrus, and people do, but a contestant from The Voice wants it known just how kind she really is, after her coach found housing for her and then paid six months' rent for her.

There's no doubt Cyrus is a passionate person. She can be outrageous at times, but when she cares about someone, she goes all out to help and protect them, such as when she brought the homeless man to the awards show and had him accept her award for her.

She has often sung charity singles and visits sick fans in hospitals. Additionally, she attends benefit concerts, and during her own concerts, matches ticket sales with donations, donates items, appears in Rock the Vote commercials, and supports many charities, including her own Happy Hippie Foundation.

Janice Freeman of Compton, California, sang "Radioactive" for her blind audition on season 13 of The Voice. Jennifer Hudson and Cyrus turned their chairs for her, with the singer ultimately picking the "Wrecking Ball" singer.

She made it through the Battles singing "W.O.M.A.N" and the Knockouts singing "I'm Goin' Down." She made it to the live shows by singing "Fall for You." She made it through one live show but was then eliminated from the top 11 when Adam Cunningham was instant-saved.

Throughout, Cyrus was always Freeman's largest champion. When she was eliminated, her coach told her, "You are a fighter, you are a warrior, you are a role model and, more than any of that, you are The Voice. I am in complete shock. I love you so much."

And she seems to have held up her end of the bargain. She wasn't just her coach during those weeks on The Voice. She's also still supporting her.

Freeman posted a video on Instagram, explaining that Cyrus helped her and her family find a two-bedroom apartment to live in and paid the security deposit and first six months of rent.

"Miley, you are my dawg, like, my best friend, and I will defend you to the bitter end," she said in the video. "This woman blessed me to be able to move in. Do you understand? What she don't know is I've been praying for her."

"I'm so overwhelmed," she continued. "I need y'all to understand that it is time to go into 2018 believing God for real ... Y'all don't understand that you see these people on TV. You see things happening and all of that. But you don't understand that these people are real. And her heart is so huge. And she allows God to use her to bless my life."

Additionally, she posted to Twitter, "@MileyCyrus you are one of my closest friends. What you did for me and my family I'm praying GOD gives you the desire of your heart!"
