The Harvey Weinstein scandal has definitely left a bad taste in the mouths of many. It just doesn't sit right.

Ben Affleck is doing what he can to get rid of that taste for himself by donating all Weinstein proceeds he receives.

It should be noted that the actor isn't totally innocent in this. He's been called out for his own actions, groping to be exact.

Former One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton called him out for "tweaking" her breast when she was hosting TRL.

A Twitter user also mentioned it, saying, "He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though."

Burton answered, "I didn't forget," and shared outtakes of the show where Affleck can be seen putting his arm around her.

"I acted inappropriately towards Ms. Burton, and I sincerely apologize," tweeted Affleck.

Another Affleck interview was also brought up where he pulls Anne-Marie Losique onto his lap, mentions her "firm breasts," suggests she take her top off, and continues to hit on her while she laughs hysterically. She says now he "never touched me in any improper way" and that he only did it when the cameras were rolling. He was dating Jennifer Lopez at the time.

Initially, Affleck came out swinging against Weinstein, writing on Facebook, "I am saddened and angry that a man who I worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass, and manipulate many women over decades," talking about condemning that type of behavior when it is witnessed.

This past weekend, he discussed the sexual misconduct scandal with the Associated Press, mentioning the additional allegations against Bret Ratner, Kevin Spacey, and Jeremy Piven.

He noted that to stop such things from happening, "more women need to be pushed to power," more men need to speak up, and also admitted he was "looking at my own behavior and addressing that."

The following day, he was asked about Kevin Smith's promise to donate all proceeds from Weinstein films to charity. Many of his films – Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats, and Jersey Girl — were produced by either The Weinstein Company or Miramax.

Having starred in Jersey Girl, Affleck was asked about Smith's pledge.

"It's funny that you mention that," he said. "Once Kevin suggested that, I decided to do the same thing. So any further residuals that I get from a Miramax or a Weinstein movie will go to F.I. or to RAINN. One is Film Independent, and the other is a women's organization."

"I just didn't want to cash any more checks from the guy, you know?" added Affleck.
