Fresh out of the hospital after a fall at his London Home, Simon Cowell has revealed he was "put in situations" in his younger years in response to the recent sexual harassment and assault scandal in Hollywood.

Cowell spoke at the Music Industry Trusts Awards and explained that the industry was "not a nice business" but that the wrongdoers "get what they deserve" in the end, according to the Daily Mail.

"Well, I do [think there will be change] actually to be honest with you," he said, according to The Sun. "Look, I have grown up in the music business. Even as a kid I was put in situations when I was first working you know, it's not a very nice business."

His response comes after Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual harassment and assault by over 90 women.

Cowell, who at 58, was recently rushed to the hospital after a fall at his home in London.

The music producer/reality TV judge was at his London home when he fainted and fell down the stairs. He was seen being taken out by paramedics wearing a neck brace and was taken to a hospital.

It was later reported that same morning that he was out of the hospital and back at home. The UK show The X Factor was in rehearsals for Saturday's first live show of the season. They had Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha fill in for him on the show on doctors' orders, meaning he was allowed some needed rest.

"The medics told Simon it would be too quick for him to return to work 48 hours after a serious medical episode," explained a source.

Later, he spoke to The Sun, where he blamed the fall on low blood pressure and vowed to be more healthy.

"Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible, and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock," he said. "They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure, and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.

"After all, I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever," he added.

He then moved on to explain exactly what happened to him: "I'd gone to get some hot milk because I felt ropey. On the way back upstairs, I just remember feeling really dizzy.

"Next thing I know someone was putting a neck brace on me, and I had a terrible headache, which must have been from me hitting the stairs. I was worried at first that I'd done some real damage.

"But I'm on the mend now," he assured. "I know I was very lucky I didn't hurt myself seriously. It could have been a lot worse. I must say, everyone at the hospital were incredible. I'm truly grateful."

Instead of attending the live The X Factor, he spent the time at home with girlfriend Lauren Silverman and 3-year-old son Eric.
