Olivia Newton-John is revealing more about her second battle with breast cancer, admitting, "I couldn't walk a month ago."

Newton-John was beloved by many at the time of her first cancer diagnosis. She was a singer of popular music before breaking out into movies starring opposite John Travolta in Grease. She's continued to make movies and music since, but Grease continues to be her hallmark.

Interrupting her career was her first breast cancer diagnosis in 1992. She canceled a tour and went on to have chemo, a radical mastectomy, and reconstructive surgery with an implant.

Earlier this year, the 68-year-old began having back pain and thought initially that it was sciatica, leaving her to postpone the first half of yet another tour. But a statement on her Facebook account in May alerted fans that her breast cancer had returned and "metastasized to the sacrum."

"I need to get through this," she asserted to 60 Minutes in Australia, admitting that the second time for this disease has brought her to "skid to a very quick halt."

She admits, "I have lots to do, but of course, it's scary. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't scary. It was, but I felt very sure that I would get through."

"The pain level was really the hardest thing," reveals Newton-John.

She dealt by utilizing herbal and photon radiation therapies as well as medical marijuana that her husband John grows.

"I was trying to do shows, and it was pretty agonizing," she said.

She then revealed she's been having trouble with her mobility.

"I can walk, but I can't go long distances," she explained. "But I'll get there because I couldn't walk at all a month or so ago. As I heal, I'll be able to walk more."

She calls telling John and daughter Chloe about her second diagnosis one of the most difficult parts of all but says she shared the news "in a positive way."

"It's probably something I'lldeal with the rest of my life," Newton-John believes now. "But I will, and I'll be fine, and there have been a lot of women who have had reoccurrences and continue on with their lives to be old ladies. That's my vision."

She remains upbeat through the love and support of her fans and says she doesn't have any complaints about her health issues.

"I've had and I'm having an amazing life," she gushes. "So I have no complaints. I really don't ... everyone goes through something. We all have something we need to go through in life, and this has been my challenge."
